What a lovely hidden gem, just a few blocks from the airport. Authentic, flavourful food with no printed menu, you’re simply told what’s fresh and available that day. Real ingredients, big taste. I’ll be coming to Bilbao regularly for business, and this will definitely be my go-to spot for a healthy, whole food meal. Highly recommended. This with a glass of nice red wine €26,- amazing

Great and friendly restaurant running by a couples. Easy to access with free parking spaces. Reasonable prices for appetisers and main courses. Surprising me with the cinnamon rice pudding for dessert! Simple but delicious with home feel dishes. You can special order of how you would like your dish and they will serve you the best! We went there for lunch and dinner in same trip! Awesome

This was really amazing. They do not have a card, which i think is great. Therefore everything they offer is excellent. Really one if the best steaks i ever had. Beautiful atmopshere in there. This is truly a recommendation, also the prices are amazing. One point, the fries are not great. But that is not enough to not give 5* here, i think it was perfect all around.

It’s a hidden gastronomical gem near Bilbao airport (short walk from Holiday Inn Express). It was an unforgettable experience in a small family owned restaurant. Our gracious host told us there was no written menu. In Spanish, he told us that night’s specials. We ordered the Burrata avocado salad & Txuleta con patatas bravas with wine & beer.

The best restaurant in Bilbao in my area opinion. I really appreciate the fact that I don’t have the menu because that means the server takes time to explain to you everything in detail. we ended up getting the meat platter to share and honestly the beef for so tender. It’s a family own business and has been open for the past 28 years. The restaurant itself is vintage and beautiful. Highly recommended.

We had a short 15 minute walk here from our hotel, I have to say that it was worth the walk. The owners are really nice and welcoming, the locals that kept popping in all said "hello" and "goodbye" when they left. There isn't a menu, you just are told what's on offer and take your pick. Believe me, the chef really knows how to prepare a steak, it was superb, the service was great and the price was surprisingly low for what we had. I would wholeheartedly recommend this Jewell to anyone who appreciates great food cooked very well, and with a smile. You will not regret visiting.

Great family restaurant! The service is personal and touching. I came here from the airport as I had a few hours before my flight. 3 stops with the bus and I discovered this place. I had a menu (beer, salad, bread and main course) and everything was delicious and fresh. I was so impressed by the food and the ambience, that I ordered a dessert too. Worthy every calorie!
